Make your own chilli oil

I ran out of this a while ago and just hadn't got round to making any more, silly really because it's so easy! Obviously the amount of chillies you use depends on the type of chilli. I'd say roughly 1 chilli per 100 ml #spicy #condiment #oil

Steps

  1. 1

I recommend 1 dried chilli per 100 ml of olive oil. I bought a glass bottle of olive oil, so no need to sterilise any bottles. Quite simply, add the chillies directly to the bottle of oil (you may need to pour a tiny bit out so it doesn't overflow) screw the lid back on. Shake and leave for at least 2-3 weeks before using. Give a shake every now and again if you remember.

  2. 2

Use as part of any dipping sauce, pasta dishes, pizza topping, the list is endless! Enjoy :)
