Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupChinigura rice soaked with water
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 2 cupliquid milk
  • 2 tablespoonPowder milk
  • 1 tablespooncondensed/ evaporated milk
  • 2 piecesbay leaves
  • 1 teaspoonghee
  • 1/2cup/as required Jaggery(nolen gur)
  • 1/4th teaspoon cardemon powder
  • 2 tablespoonchopped dryfruits

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the rice with 1.5 cup water, liquid milk,powder milk and bay leaves on stove.when rice is 100% cooked,discard the bay leaves and add one pinch of salt and mash well.

  2. 2

    Then add condensed milk,cardemom powder and jaggery and cook them well. It brings a nice smell.Now add ghee from the top and garnish with dryfruits.

  3. 3

    Kheer is ready to serve.Enjoy.
