Honey-Whole wheat Bread with Chia & Linseeds

Ingredients

3 hrs
1 loaf
  1. 1 cupmilk at room temperature
  2. 3 tbsphoney
  3. 2 tbspbutter
  4. 1.5 tspsalt
  5. 0.5 Cupflax seeds meal
  6. 1 tspchai seeds (soaked)
  7. 2 tbspwater
  8. 1.5 Cupwhole wheat flour
  9. 1.5 cupAPF
  10. 2 tbspyeast

Cooking Instructions

    You can make flax seeds meal by crushing/grinding seeds.

    Soaked the chia seeds with the 2 tbsp water to form gel.

  3. 3

    Place all ingredients in the order listed and mix/knead to form dough.

  4. 4

    Let it proof for an hour.

  5. 5

    Punch it down to release air. Roll it into a loaf tin well greased.

  6. 6

    Let it rise again for 45 - 60 mins.

  7. 7

    Bake for 40 mins at 375 degrees. You can brush with milk, butter or egg wash prior to baking.

    Enjoy with butter and a cuppa!!
