Ingredients

  • 2raw mangoes
  • As per tastePowdered Jaggery (as per your choice)
  • 1/2 inchginger
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • Pinchsalt
  • 1 tbspoil
  • as requiredDry fruits of your choice

Steps

15-18 minutes
  1. 1

    Take 2 raw mangoes, wash and peel their skin off. Now grate them.

  2. 2

    Slice 1/2 inch of ginger. Rinse it, peel off the skin, and chop it into tiny pieces.

    Switch on the induction (temperature in medium setting) and start heating a kadhai. To that add 1 tbsp. of oil and once the oil is hot, toss in the chopped ginger and stir fry for a minute or two.

    Add in the grated mangoes and keep working your ladle. Stir it for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Now add in a pinch of salt and add powdered jaggery as per taste. Mix everything well.

    Add in 1/2 a cup of water and keep on stirring until you reach a thick consistency.

    Turn off the induction and transfer it to a plate. Garnish it with your choice of dry fruits. Here we have taken cashews, raisins, and cherries. And you have a perfect palatable dessert to yourself!!!
