Heat a large kadai and put milk in it and stir it continuously. When the milk gets reduced and milk grains begin to form then add lemon juice and mix it well and repeat this process for 2 time. When the lemon juice gets mixed in it then add half of the sugar and again mix it well.

When the sugar gets melted then add remaining sugar in it and mix it well and cook it on low flame. When the mixture gets dry then add cardamom powder in it and mix it well and now add ghee in it and mix it well and turn off the flame.

Grease a mould with some butter and put the mixture in it and tap it. Take a thick cloth and now put in on the kitchen platform. Now put it in a tin and cover with the thick cloth for 3 hrs.

After 3 hours when it gets settled then cut it into the shape of barfi.

Garnish the milk cake with almond flakes.
