Ingredients

  1. 1 cupboiled chick peas
  2. 3green chillies
  3. 1/4 cupshredded coconut
  4. 4-5curry leaves
  5. 1 teaspoonudad dal/ Split black lentil
  6. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  7. 2 pinchaesafoetida/ hing
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. As neededCoriander leaves to garnish
  10. 1 tablespoonoil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Grind coconut, greens chillies and curry leaves to a coarse mixture.

    Keep things ready

    Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds let it splutter and add split black lentil.

    Add boiled chickpeas

    Now add salt and ground coconut mixture and mix. Cover and cook on low flame for few minutes.

    Sundal is ready to be offered to our Dear Lord Ganesha, who is God of Wisdom and Knowledge.
