Gur papri

Gur papri is a type of sweet bar that are filled with goodness and aromas of desi ghee,coconut, almond, pistachio, gond and jaggery(gur). This sweet is very easy to prepare at memon family. This gur papri is very nutritious and very good in health point wise.

Heat 100 gm ghee in a pan over medium heat. Fry gum until crispy. Chopped the fried gums. Heat remaining ghee in the same pan. Add wheat flour and cook for 10 minute. Add ghee little if needed. Cook till it changes colour and give aromas. Remove from stove. Add in chopped almonds,fried gums,pistachios and coconut. Mix well. Make jaggery syrup by heating ghee, add in gur,mix well. Add milk and mix well. When gur dissolve put this syrup in wheat mixture and mix well.Cook for 5 minutes and remove.

Assembling: Transfer into a dish. Let it cool for few minutes. Cut into square pieces. Gurpapri is ready to serve.
