Ingredients

  • 4 ozbottle of cranberry juice
  • 4 ozbottle of apple cider
  • 4 lbsfresh cranberries (rinsed)
  • 8 cupssugar
  • 24cinnamon sticks
  • 8whole nutmeg seeds smashed
  • 4 teaspoonwhole cloves
  • 4 mlmoonshine

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot bring juice, cranberries, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a boil.

  2. 2

    Reduce heat and simmer until all cranberries have popped.

  3. 3

    Remove from stove and pour mixture through a sieve lined with cheesecloth into another pot.

  4. 4

    Reserve 20 burst cranberries and cinnamon sticks.

  5. 5

    Allow mixture to cool to room temperature then add shine.

  6. 6

    Add 2-3 burst cranberries and a cinnamon stick to each mason jar.

  7. 7

    Place lid on each jar and allow to sit in a cool, dry place for a month before enjoying.

What are correct quantities of cranberry juice and apple cider, can't believe only 4 oz. of each to fill several mason jars
