Ingredients

  • 3-4Boiled potatoes
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • STUFFING:-
  • 4-5 tbspGrated fresh coconut
  • 3 tbspRoasted and coarsely grounded peanuts
  • 2 tbspFresh dhania / coriander leaves
  • 1 tbspRaisins
  • 1 tbspCashews nuts
  • 1 tspGinger green chilli paste
  • 1 tspSugar
  • 1 tspLemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 5/6Curry leaves
  • 1tsp+2 tsp Oil for shallow frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the potatoes,remove the skin, mash with a fork and add salt and chilli powder, and mix well.Set aside this is our covering

    Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, cashews and raisins and fry for 2 mins

    Take the grated coconut,add all the ingredients mentioned in the stuffing. Add the fried raisins,cashews & curry leaves too.Mix well

    Take the potato and make a round dish.Place the stuffing in between and seal it well.Use more potato covering if required.Shape them like a nice round Pattice.

    Heat a nonstick pan drizzle some oil & shallow fry the patties on both sides till golden brown.

    They taste amazing as it is but can be served with imli/ mint chutney
