Steps

Wash & soak the rice for 20 minutes. Boil 1 cup of water with kesar strings for 5 minutes.switch off the flame & keep it aside.

Boil 2 cups of water with 1 cup sugar till sugar dissolves. Switch off the flame.

Heat pure ghee in a karahi & add sugar syrup with cardamoms. Strain the water from the rice & add the rice to sugar syrup.

After a boil, slow down the flame & cook on the low flame for 20 minutes.

Garnish with chopped almonds & pistachios. Serve hot.
