Snack time! Today I made Widaran, savory snack made from egg, tapioca flour and margarine. I modified the original recipe and add oregano to give fragrance on this snack. It's pretty easy to make 😄

Snack time! Today I made Widaran, savory snack made from egg, tapioca flour and margarine. I modified the original recipe and add oregano to give fragrance on this snack. It's pretty easy to make 😄

Prepare the ingredients. Blend egg, margarine, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, and salt.

Put tapioca flour, parmesan cheese, oregano and the batter in a bowl. Knead it until it can be shaped and it's not sticky.

Prepare oil (room temperature) in a large pan. Take approximately 1/2 tsp of dough and roll it with your hand like cylinder with pointed tips. Put the dough into oil. This method prevent the dough explode while frying. Do it until finish.

Take the pan to the stove and turn it on low heat. Don't stir the dough until it become firm. Fry it until golden brown.
