I like to cook excellent meals with common everyday ingredients that we use daily. I dislike recipes that contain too many ingredients that I have never seen or heard of and difficult to obtain. My recipes are based on ingredients that we all have available at home.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1-lbs whole shrimp
  2. 1/2 lbslobster tail
  3. 3cup
  4. parboiled rice
  5. 1/4onion diced
  6. 1/4Red pepper diced
  7. 2- cloves garlic diced
  8. 1bay leaf-optional
  9. Pinchfood coloring
  10. to tasteSalt& pepper
  11. Tsp-olive oil
  12. 1- cup cooking wine/white -or 1- cup beer/ optional
  13. Dashtomato sauce
  14. 3- cup water for rice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Dice onion, red pepper, garlic. Place knife across lobster tail sideways and press firmly to split tails in half

  2. 2

    Devein shrimp by slicing tail crosswise, open and remove digestive vein, rinse. Do not remove shell or head. Sauté vegetables in the olive oil

  3. 3

    Add tomato sauce, seafood,salt, pepper and let simmer for 2 min, then add rice, wine, and food coloring, stir well, cover and let cook for 20 to 25 min. Uncover, stir and serve. Enjoy
