Wash the gooseberries and wipe them.Then in a pan take glass of water, heat it and then add gooseberries(amla) in to it and boil it for 10 minutes and then remove from the flame.

Now cool down them and gently press it from centre, it will get different from the seed.Like this remove all the seeds of the gooseberries.

Now take a pan add oil and heat it till it get smoky then off the flame.And cool down a little then add asafoetida,carom seeds and fenugreek seeds and cook it for sometime then add boiled gooseberries and mix it properly. Now add salt,turmeric powder, mustard seeds,red chilli,fennel powder and mix all well.Now add vinegar in it and mix together all the ingredients.

After cooling of the pickle store it in a glass jar.It tastes enhances after 3 days.Our tangy delicious amla pickle is ready to serve.Enjoy
