Take a bowl. Add rice flour and besan in it. Then add salt sugar and ginger green chilli paste in it. Mix it properly. Add 2 tbsp oil in it. Add water to it and make batter now add citric powder to it.

Grease the baking dish. And just before pouring the batter add eating soda to it and mix it properly so that it becomes light. Mixing is important as it makes dhokla fluffy. You can also add fruit salt in place of soda. Now pour the mixture in the greased plate and steam it.

When it is ready. Check it with knife or fork. Let it cool down and then carefully transfer it in the plate. Cut it into pieces of your choice

Now take a tadka pan and put some oil in it. Once the oil is hot add black mustard to it, then add curry leaves, green chillies and hing.Then add 2-3 tbsp of sugar and add water to it. Let the sugar dissolve and then switch off the gas. Pour it on the dhokla and let it rest for few mins.

Dhokla is ready to serve
