  • 1carrot
  • 1tomato
  • 1onion
  • 5red chilli
  • 1 tspurad dal
  • 2garlic
  • 1/2 inchginger
  • as neededCoriander leaves
  • as neededCurry leaves
  • 2 tspoil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut,onion, tomato, carrot into slices.

    Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and fry it to golden brown. Then add garlic, ginger, coriander leaves, onion and carrot. Saute well in oil, then add tomato,cover with lid and cook for 10 minutes.

    Once it cooled down, grind it to a smooth paste and add salt to taste. Tamper it with oil,mustard seeds and curry leaves.

    Serve it with idli or dosa
