Soak the besan dal in water for 3 hours, then roast the rice flour in a pan.

To the pan add a pinch of salt, besan flour, coconut flakes to the roasted rice flour. Then add hot water to it and make as a dough(like chapati dough).Now make it into small balls.

In a deep pan take a mixture of jaggery and water in a ratio of (1:1.5). Now heat the pan until the jaggery gets completely dissolved. Then add a pinch of elachi and ginger powder.

Once the jaggery water in pan is completely boiled put the small balls prepared to it.Now heat it in a medium flame for 10 minutes.

Now the village gulab jamun is ready.
