Just what I needed this morning, boiled egg spicy salad. Thais eat this dish as a side dish. It’s nice, fresh and healthy. I sometimes eat this to accompany with chicken green curry and steamed jasmine rice. Some people eat this for breakfast (yes, breakfast) with boiled rice and fried chinese sausage (called Gun Chiang) #eatthaivisitthai

Ingredients

  1. 2eggs
  2. Yum sauce (spicy salad sauce)
  3. 1shallot
  4. 2-3bird eye chilli (up to your taste)
  5. 1 Tbspfish sauce
  6. 1/2large lime
  7. 1/2 Tspsugar
  8. Pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil some water. When it’s boiling, reduce the heat to gentle simmer.

  2. 2

    Add the eggs and set the timer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, Take the eggs out of the water and put into a bowl of cold water.

    Prepare Yum sauce ingredients

  4. 4

    Add fish sauce, lime juice and mix them until the sugar dissolved. Then add shallot and chillis

  5. 5

    Cut eggs to half. Drizzling yum sauce over the eggs. Garnish with coriander before serving.
