Warm the oil in pan and add chopped onions, Brown them then add chopped garlic and ginger

Then add chicken and fry chicken. Now add salt, red pepper (according to taste), half teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 table spoon coriander powder and tomatoes.add little water and cook on slow flame for 10-15 minutes

Now add water according to rice quantity, add star anise, cinnamon, Brown cardamom etc and cook until water starts boiling

Now add rice (already soaked in water) and cook until water gets dry
