Easy & Healthy Apple & Almond desert, #vegan #paleo #sugar-free #dairy-free #gluten-free #grain-free

I had Bramley apples and lemons that were about to go off and i Made this spicy apple mix that can be made into a healthy desert or added to yoghurt and cereal in the morning.
All Spaces are to taste. I like tart/sour flavour but It can be made more sweet by using sweeter varieties of apples and/or adding more Honey / mapple syrup.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel and chop apples. The larger the pieces the more defined they will be in the desert.
- 2
Add 1 cm of water to the sauce pan and put on medium heat. Add apples, lemon juice, and all the spices.
- 3
Cook on medium heat until apples let out the liquid, than move to low heat and simmer, stirring frequently.
- 4
Chop the walnuts into smaller pieces with a sharp knife. When the apples start becoming soft but still maintain their shape, add the walnuts and ground almonds to the pot, and stir until they are mixed in well.
- 5
Cook on the low heat for 3-4 minutes until almonds soak up much of the liquid. Taste the mix and add additional spicer or more Honey / mapple syrup, to taste
- 6
For paleo version, decorate with shredded coconut and flaked almonds. You can also serve with ice cream, coconut yoghurt or whipped cream. Second photo is whipped cream with some lavender sprinkles on top.

Pandan green coconut rice dessert (vegan, gluten free) Pandan green coconut rice dessert (vegan, gluten free)
My curiosity toward Indonesian green pandan pastries made me try cooking one using real fresh leaves. I was curious because it said to have aroma that is similar to vanilla, good for health and it’s broadly used in Southeast Asia. How it tastes and smell? So firstly, I stepped into a Indonesian grocery store and found the fresh pandan leaves there. My next step is asking a Indonesian lady standing beside me how she cook them. The kind lady told me to eat with sticky rice and coconut milk and sugar, and it is so delicious. However her description was not so clear. So I managed to cook on my way.Earth

Vegan Chia Kheer (Indian Pudding Dessert) Vegan Chia Kheer (Indian Pudding Dessert)
Kheer is my favorite Indian dessert, but I wanted to make it so that people with lactose intolerance or vegans could also enjoy it.I don't think they sell coconut milk in cartons in Japan, so substitute with soy milk, if necessary. If you worry about your blood sugar levels, you can omit the raisins. Use liquid sweetener, since it is less likely to raise your blood sugar levels. If you're not worried about them, I recommend using maple syrup. Recipe by Maxerbear cookpad.japan -
Microwaved Vinegar & Apple Dessert Microwaved Vinegar & Apple Dessert
My older sister taught me how to make this! My child has a hard time with the crunchiness of apples, so I mixed it with plain yogurt and I got him to eat them! Adding vinegar seems to up the sweetness? This is also great as an adult dessert. The apples look good when peeled. When you add in the vinegar, you can pour it in gently and the center will be just fine. When you heat it up it's obviously going to be hot, so open the microwave and let it sit for a minute. You can eat it as is like that or you add it to yogurt or cake batter and bake it. Either or is delicious. For serving 3~4. Recipe by Minarai Mi-ko cookpad.japan -

Avocado Chocolate Dessert Soup Avocado Chocolate Dessert Soup
If I can still remember, I had posted this before. It was in a typical vegan smoothie form and nothing like this. You can totally replace the condensed milk and Iris cream with vegan-friendly options if you fancy that route. It is entirely up to your own convenience and preference. A recipe is just a guideline for you to understand, ultimately, you will have to taste and adjust to your own palate. As you already knew the story behind this recipe. I was in Bandung, Indonesia, and I was being served with this awesome smoothie. It has avocado, coffee and chocolate. Who would've thought that such a combination works? It is perfect. My then ex-gf, told me what she can do it better as she further explained to me that the eatery is not using real avocado, but rather fake flavorings and colorings. Yes, her version tastes way better. To this day, I never forget the taste; the avocado rush on the palate, the strong aromatic coffee aftertaste, almost mocha-like (probably due to the chocolate), lingers at the back of your mouth for quite a while.Instead of making another smoothie, I decided to create this dessert soup. I added coconut oil to enhance the flavors of the chocolate. The cold avocado coffee soup top with a warm coconut dark chocolate just give your tastebuds an oomph. To make things even further, I garnish with some coffee granules. The taste is almost the same as I 1st sipped into the wonderful smoothie my ex-gf used to make. I really hope you will give this recipe a try Daniel Lim -
Pumpkin Dessert Squares with Shortbread Crust Pumpkin Dessert Squares with Shortbread Crust
While there’s nothing quite like a pumpkin pie, making a crust from scratch can be a little tricky. This recipe delivers all the creamy goodness of a pie while avoiding the effort of making a crust. I made this for a Friendsgiving dinner, and it was a major hit, with people coming back for seconds! So, not only is it easy, but delicious, too! This is definitely a recipe that I’ll be making again and again. The original recipe is from Taste of Home. However, I added a small amount of salt to the crust and also added some vanilla extract and nutmeg to the filling. The homemade whipped cream is optional, but highly recommended.#Thanksgiving #Holiday #Easy #Dessert Chris Gan -
Carrot Halwa - Indian Carrot Dessert Carrot Halwa - Indian Carrot Dessert
I remembered that my mother would often make this, and since I had a lot of carrots in the fridge, I made it to serve after tonight's curry dinner.Although this is typically a dessert served in the winter or spring in India, it is perfect during the cool weather. In Hindi, this dessert is called "gajar halwa".If you have it on hand, add a tablespoon of condensed milk in Step 7. But it's also delicious without it.You can store this up to a week in the fridge, and a month in the freezer.Served warm or cold, either way it's tasty. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -

Fruity fun for St Patricks Day! Jello Instant Pudding Mix is widely available in the USA but not so much over here. I order it in bulk from Amazon - it's available a bit cheaper through their Subscribe & Save option if you use that. Where our UK version (Angel Delight) is milk-powder based, Jello Instant Pudding Mix is cornstarch based and has no powdered milk in the ingredients at all. You can also look up my homemade instant pudding recipe from within my profile recipe list which is GF DF EF SF & NF. I do use powdered milk in my recipe but it's powdered coconut milk! Mango Dessert Mango Dessert
My city has been quite hot these days. So I wanted to make something refreshing and cool in the afternoon. Mangoes are in season and I prefer to use arumanis or gedong mangoes for that. Any sweet mangoes that you can find in the market should be okay. You can also use juice sold in tetra paks or bottles. Angela Mertoyono -
