Ingredients

1&1/4 cup plain flour
1 cupthick curd
3/4 cupsugar
1&1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1/2 cupoil
1&1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cupsalt for base

Steps

Take the curd in a bowl add sugar, mix well till the sugar dissolves

Add the baking powder & baking soda. Leave it aside for 5 minutes. You will see bubbles appear

Meanwhile prepare the Sufuria with salt at the base and a stand in it. Pre heat on low gas

Add the vanilla essence and oil to the mixture of curd. Sieve flour twice

Add to the wet ingredients in batches. Mix well till no lumps.

Pour the mixture in a greased tin. Put it in the Sufuria. Cover it. Bake for 1 hour or till done
