Boil the basmati rice and set aside. Then in a frying pan, cit onions into found shape, grate fresh garlic and ginger, add in the butter and oil amd fry on low heat. Then add in your spices and seasonings(cardamom, cloves, turmeric etc). Add chopped carrots and green pepper then add in cooked rice and gently stir, adjust the seasonings and serve with any soup or stew, amd any salad you wish. I just add ketchup and the taste was so goood.
