Wash and soak moong dal

In a pressure cooker add desi ghee when hot add Asafoetida and cumin seeds when cracked add chopped green chilli,ginger,chopped tomato

Add spices now add soak dal and water as needed

Cover it with lid and whistle on medium flame
- 5
Open lid add garam masala powder and chopped fresh coriander
