Soak rice for 30 min. Prepare vegetables in your favourite shape and size(I used 1 small carrot, around 10 french beans, 1 medium to big potatoes, 1/2 cup cabbage, 2 tbsp tuver Dana, 3-4 pieces cauliflower, some spring onions). I prefer to cut them into big and long pieces so they do not get over cooked in the cooker. Heat oil, add khada masala and jeera. Saute a bit and then add g-g-g paste. Saute it.

Add the veggies, powder spices and 2-3 tbsp water for the spices to get cooked well with veggies. Add rice and combine everything well. Level rice evenly. Add around 2 cups water or as much As is slightly above the surface of rice - around 1 cm or little less above the surface.

Adjust spices. Bring it to boil close the cooker lid and let the pressure release once or twice on medium to low flame. Let the cooker cool down. Then serve the pulao hot with freshly made curd, papad, onions, achar etc.
