Heat oil in a cooking pot. Add ginger-garlic paste. Add finely chopped spring onions too. Saute them both for a minute or two. Keep some of it for the final garnishing.

Now add the rest of the spices and the chicken pieces. Saute them well on a high flame for 5 minutes. Now lower the flame and simmer. Do not add any water. Simmer for about 20 minutes or a little more.

Keep stirring in between and keep an eye on it. Garnish with chopped coriander, garam masala and Kasuri methi. Let it simmer for one more minute before plating it. Garnish with chopped spring onions while serving.
