Take a heavy Bottom Pan and heat ghee on a low to medium flame after 2-3 second add cardamom in it and after 2-3 second add besan and semolina and begin to roast on a low flame stirring continuously until aromat and deep golden.

When it is done add powder sugar in it and water keep stirring continuously breaking the lumps and cooking if you find too many lumps in your Besan Halwa just break them up with a spatula and continue stirring.

When the moisture is absorbed add 1 tbsp desi ghee and stir. Within few minutes halwa will begin to leave the sides of the pan. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until ghee begins to release. Now switch off the gas flame and remove halwa from pan and serve warm and hot in a bowl and sprinkle some chopped cashews and almonds and now our Besan Halwa is ready to eat. Enjoy!
