Ingredients

  • 1/2 BowlToor Dal
  • 3 TbspChana Dal
  • 2 TbspYellow Moong Dal
  • 2 TbspUrad Dal
  • 2 TbspMasoor Dal
  • 1/2 BowlDesicated Coconut
  • 4-5Dry Red Chillies
  • 10Curry Leaves
  • 8-10 garlic cloves
  • 1 TbspCoriander Seeds
  • 2 Tspamchur(dry mango powder)
  • To tasteRed Chilli Powder (Kashmiri)
  • 2 tspSugar
  • 1 TbspMint leaves
  • 1 TbspKasturi Methi
  • 1/2 tsprai(mustard seeds)
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 TbspOil
  • 1 1/2 TspGaram Masala
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 2 TspSalt
  • 1 TspBlack Salt

Steps

    Take oil in a kadai. Add Mustard, Jeera, Curry Leaves, Mint leaves, Kasuri Methi and roast all for a minute.

    Add all the dals, Dry Red Chillies, Garlic, and roast till it turns reddish brown.

    Remove the roasted dals from flame and cool it for 10 to 15 minutes. Add coconut and grind it to a coarse powder.

    Add Amchur, Red Chilli Powder, Asafoetedia, Salt,Rock Salt. Mix Well.

    Can be used as Dry Chutney. Used by adding 2 Tbsp in 3/4 bowl curd. Or adding 2 Tbsp oil in Dry Powder.

    CAN BE SERVED WITH DOSA, DHOKLA, CHILLA, IDLI, ETC.

    Can be preserved in Fridge for 2 months. In Freezer for 4 months
