Instant Farali Dhokla Idli

My recipe of farali idli or dhokla is light and easy to make instantly farali recipe. With the use of samo/ moraiyo/vrat ke chawal and sabudana it's being prepared. It's keep your tummy away from too much oily and fried dishes during fasting and keep your tummy full and energetic.

My recipe of farali idli or dhokla is light and easy to make instantly farali recipe. With the use of samo/ moraiyo/vrat ke chawal and sabudana it's being prepared. It's keep your tummy away from too much oily and fried dishes during fasting and keep your tummy full and energetic.

Take a mixture grinder add Samo and sabudana with the given proportion. Grind it into fine mixture powder.

Now add curd in it. Always note that curd proportion is same as Samo or Moraiyo proportion. Now add 1/2 cup water and salt in it. And grind it well.

Add some more water if it is thick and as per required. better consistency should be like idli batter. Take it out in a bowl and add chilli ginger paste and mix well. Let the better rest for 15 minutes.

Now after 15 min our better is ready. First turn on the stove and boil water in steamer. In better add 1/2 tspn of baking soda and 1 tspn lemon juice on it to activate soda. And mix well.

Now in dhokla mould or in dish Grease with oil and pour better in it. Cover steamer lid and let it steam for 15-20 min on high flame.

After 15-20 min open cover and check the dhokla if knife or tooth pick come out clear from dhokla, it's ready. Take it out from steamer and cool to a normal temperature.

If you don't want a tadka and oil free you can serve it as idli with green chutney or catch-up. Make a cut on dhokla.

For tadka take a tadka pan add oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and green chilli. Now add seasam seeds. And tadka is ready to go into the dhokla. Pour tadka on dhokla and ready to serve.

Garnish it with coriander leaves. And serve with green coriander chutney or catch-up.
