Millet is thought to have originated in North Africa, specifically in Ethiopia. Since ancient times, millet has been widely consumed in Asia and India as well. In the Middle Ages, before potatoes and corn were introduced, millet became a staple grain in Europe, especially in countries in Eastern Europe. There is even mention of millet in the Bible as an ingredient for unleavened bread. Although millet is most often associated as the main ingredient in bird seed, but it is not just "for the birds", it has good sauce of some very important nutrients, including copper, manganese, phosphorus, and magnesium, which helps in Development and Repair of Body Tissue, Lower the Type 2 Diabetes Risk, reacts as Protective against Breast Cancer, contains Heart-Protective Properties. Here I have made Italian flavored coin tikki from Millet flour #millet #italian #tikki
