Meat roll - take slice of beef, if you have a nice butcher they will slice on the machine, put a tea spoon of garlic and one of parsley, tie up with butcher's thread.

Brown meat rolls, when evenly browned take out of pan put to one side while starting the sauce

Brown onion. With whatever vegetables you want to use.when evenly cooked place the meat back in the pan over meat with the tomato. Passata,Tinned or mixture on a low heat cook for at least 40minutes

When the sauce is nearly done. Cook the pasta divide onto plates, either slice the meat or leave whole.take off the butcher's twine

Serve with basil and grated cheese to taste

And any left overs-. the meat can sliced cold used with good green salad. sauce can be used as is with pasta rice or a base for lasagna
