Ingredients

500 g Prawns peeled and de-veined
  • 2 tbspkashmiri chilli paste
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • As required Coconut oil
  • 1/2 tspFennel seed powder
  • 2twigs Curry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the prawns thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Place a kadai on the stove.(preferably iron kadai)

  3. 3

    Into the kadai,add the kashmiri chilli paste, turmeric powder,fennelseeds powder and curry leaves.

  4. 4

    Add prawns and 50ml of water to the kadai.

  5. 5

    Cover it with the lid and cook for 10 minutes

  6. 6

    When the water completely dries, add 3 tbsp coconut oil intermittently, and roast it for 5-10 minutes in low flame, till the prawns turn light brown in colour.

  7. 7

    Finally add curry leaves and the Prawn roast is ready to serve.
