Generally most people avoid or do not like Lauki sabzi.But if it is made like my recipe, u will definitely like it.

Peel Lauki/bottle gourd,make pieces,add little water and pressure Cook for 3 whistles.In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add cloves,cinnamon,chopped green chilli,curry leaves.Saute for a while.Then add chopped onion and garlic cloves.Add little salt and saute till Onion becomes soft.

Now add tomato.keep stirring and Saute till they become mushy.Off the flame.Take out the mixture in a Plate and let it cool.

In a blender jar,add the Onion tomato mixture and blend into fine paste.In a pan Heat oil.Add Cumin seeds and paste.Saute it for 6-7 secs.Add salt,Turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala,dhaniajeera powder.Saute well till it gives the flavour.Add 2 Cups water.Now add 1 tbsp Roasted peanuts powder.Mix well and let it cook.

When it starts boiling,add Boiled lauki pieces and mix well.Cover and let it cook for 5-7 min on LOW flame.Now add Coriander leaves.Mix it.Spicy,flavourful Lauki curry is ready to serve.

Serve it hot with fulka rotis or rice.
