Ingredients

40 minutes
8 Servings
  1. 1/2 kg Baby Potatoes
  2. 1 tsp Fennel Powder
  3. 1 tspCoriander Powder
  4. As per taste Red Chilli Powder
  5. As per taste Salt
  6. 1 tspGaram Masala Powder
  7. 1 eachWhole spices - Dalchinni, Laung, Black Pepper, Tej patta
  8. 2 CupsMilk
  9. 10-15Cashews Soaked
  10. 5-7Melon seeds
  11. As required Fresh Malai
  12. 4-5Tomatoes

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil the potatoes and fry them.

  2. 2

    Grind the tomatoes, soaked cashews and melon seeds together

  3. 3

    In a pan add a drop of ghee and then add the tomato cashew mixture.

  4. 4

    Let the paste release oil then add coriander, red chilli powder and turmeric according to taste.

  5. 5

    Let the spices mix well then add malai

  6. 6

    Then add milk.

  7. 7

    Then add fried potatoes.

  8. 8

    Then add fennel powder and garam masala.

  9. 9

    Simmer it for 5-7 minutes.

  10. 10

    Now add fresh malai again and turn off the flame.

  11. 11

    Serve it with Naan, paratha and kulchas.

  12. 12

    Garnish it with coriander leaves and Green Chillies.
