Soak urad dal for overnight than drain excess water grind I with green chillies cumin seeds asafoetida ginger into fluffy batter

Now Mix vigorously the batter add salt mix well.. So that it becomes more smooth

Heat up the oil in kadai drop small portion of vada with hands in oil.. And fry them till crispy golden brown

As all vadas are ready.. Drain excess oil.. Add vada in water for 15 to 20 minutes.. You will see size of vada increases in water and slightly colour changes

Now press soaked vada on palm remove excess water Amd keep aside

Take a bowl of curd beat it until smooth.. In a bowl arrange Vasa and pour beaten curd into it

Keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes... Later in a serving bowl serve Dahi vada sprinkle some red chilli powder some roasted cumin seeds powder chaat masala black salt

Sprinkle come coriander leaves and enjoy chatpata Dahi vada
