Karnataka famous Akki ki roti with Hyderabadi paneer

Get ready with your all ingredients for akki roti. Now boil the water with salt as per taste and add all ingredients and stir all the mixture well and boil it for 2 minutes. Then add rice flour and keep stirring continuously until it reaches into dough consistency.

Turn off the flame. Now knead the dough very well for 5 minutes. Divide the dough in equal portions, place thin plastic above the rolling board and grease it with oil. Now take ball sized dough and tap gently to a thickness. After that place the tawa on medium flame and start cooking on both sides, add a tsp of oil until it turns golden brown.

Finally, enjoy akki roti with Hyderabadi paneer or chutney.

Hyderabadi paneer recipe ingredients. First of all take all the ingredients in a grinder and grind to a paste. Now add cashews and again grind it to make a smooth paste. Then heat a pan, add 2 tsp oil, now add paneer cubes, capsicum and onion, haldi powder, red chilli powder and add salt as per taste. Keep Frying it for 5 minutes and off the flame.

Again heat oil in a pan and add puree. Now add haldi powder, jeera powder and dry kasuri leaves, fry it for 10 minutes. Then add a small bowl ful fat milk with cream and keep Frying. Now add little bit salt, sugar too and keep stirring for 10 minutes.

Now add paneer cubes and stir it well, add more milk to the gravy if required and stir it well for more 5 minutes, turn off the flame. Now garnish this with coriander leaves and fresh cream. Serve it with akki roti.
