Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 1 tbCurry
  3. 2 tablespoonbutter
  4. 1/2 teaspoonSalt
  5. 1/4 teaspoonBaking powder
  6. 1egg
  7. For the Fillings
  8. Irish potatoes
  9. Minced meat
  10. Garlic paste
  11. Curry
  12. Seasonings
  13. 1 tablespoonFlour
  14. 1 1/2 tbspvegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Sieve your flour, add all the dry ingredients

    Add your butter and combine untill it resemble bread crumbs.

  3. 3

    Add water little by little to form a non sticky dough.

  4. 4

    Allow the dough to rest in a fridge.

  5. 5

    For the fillings: peel the potato and cut into smaller pieces and cook. Keep aside.

    Pour in your vegetable oil,add the minced meat, add seasoning cubes, garlic paste and curry.

    Stir for some minutes, add little water and allow it to cook

  8. 8

    Add your cooked diced potato and stir.

  9. 9

    On a low heat pour in flour batter i.e mixture of flour and water. Your meat pie filling is ready.

    Break an egg in a separate bowl. Beat it and keep aside.

  11. 11

    Bring out your dough and knead again. Roll out the dough and cut into circles using bowl. You can use meat pie cutter if you have.

    Spoon some of the filling in the center of the dough circle.

    Fold the dough over filling. press the edges with a fork.

    Brush the outer of the pie with the egg.

    Grease your baking try with butter. Arrange the pies and bake in a preheated oven.
