Ingredients

30 mins, plus overnight marinating time
3 people
  1. 500 gchicken breast
  2. 1/4 cupplain yogurt
  3. 6 clovesgarlic, minced
  4. 2 tbspolive oil
  5. 1/2lemon, juiced
  6. 1 tbspdried thyme
  7. 1/2 tbspginger powder
  8. 1/2 tbsppaprika powder
  9. 1 tsptomato paste
  10. 1 tspblack pepper
  11. 1 tspsalt
  12. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  13. 1/3 tspcinnamon powder

Cooking Instructions

30 mins, plus overnight marinating time

    Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks.

    In a bowl, add all the ingredients except for the chicken and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add the chicken and mix it thoroughly with the marinade. Cover it with a plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge overnight.

    Lightly oil the pan on medium-high heat. Add the chicken on the heated pan and grill for about 10 minutes each side, until nicely browned.

    Serve with lettuce, toasted pita bread, onions, and toum (lebanese garlic sauce), if desired.
