Ingredients

  • 1/4 cupUrad dal
  • 1/4 cupHorse gram
  • 1/4 cupChana dal
  • 1/4 cupSambhar dal
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspFenugreek seeds
  • 4Red chillies
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1/4 tspHing/asafoetida

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak all the pulses in water for about 6 hours

  2. 2

    Grind it all together and make a fine paste.keep it for fermentation (6hour)

  3. 3

    You can make dosa using the batter.add curry leaves to enhance flavour
