Made from caramel, so the cake has an unique taste. In indonesia the cake called bolu sakura (sakura cake) because the shape of cake like sakura flower. But you can use any mold.

Made from caramel, so the cake has an unique taste. In indonesia the cake called bolu sakura (sakura cake) because the shape of cake like sakura flower. But you can use any mold.
Steps

Add sugar in sauce pan and heat the sauce pan with low heat until it caramelized.

When all sugar has dissolved, add hot water.
- 3
Mix all dry ingredients and sieve. Mix into caramel and stir well.

Grease the mold with oil. Pour batter into 2/3 of mold. Heat up the steamer. Steam the cake about 20 minutes or until the cake is done. Wait until cake cool, remove from mold and serve it.
