Put flour, salt, yeast and sugar in a bowl Mix the warm milk, butter and egg and put the liquid into the flour mixture and stir to make a soft dough Tip onto a floured surface and knead for 5 mins until soft Return yo the bowl and cover turn let rise in a warm place for 40-60 min

Line or oil a baking tray Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface par into a rectangle abt 1 cm thick and cut out 12 rounds with a circle cutter about 5.5 cm set rounds on the baking tray and leave to rice about 20mins

Fill a pot 1/3 way with oil and let it heat to about 150 degrees Fry the doughnuts in batches until golden brown turning them halfway Left then onto a kitchen towel to drain Repeat till all are done

Fill in a piping bag with filling of choice is using and poke a hole in the doughnuts and fill them in with the filling

Mix the sugar and cinnamon and tip on to a plate Roll the doughnuts in the mixture and serve
