Nankhatai is one of the most favoured homemade cookies which can be eaten by all. They are very easy to make at home. These crispy, crunchy nankhatais can be made with easily available ingredients at home.

Take a bowl add all-purpose flour, add besan.

Add baking powder sieve it. Now add semolina mix it well.

Add powder sugar, add ghee, add milk now knead is softly to make a dough

Now dough is ready. Now take a deep pan (kadai) and heat it on high flame with a lid on for 10 min. And place a stand in it.

Now that the kadai is preheated,Take some part of the dough and make balls of your preffered size. Make all the balls in same size. Now with a finger, create a small impression.

For baking on stove, take a plate and grease with ghee now make balls on similar size and place them on the plate. Create a similar impression and add dry fruits to give the plate a slight elevation.

Close the lid and bake on medium heat for 20-25 min. On gas, it took me 25 min to bake them. The plate will be very hot, so remove it carefully. Cool them completely before storing them. Nankhatai is ready.
