Firstly oil the steamer vessel and keep the steamer for heating with sufficient water

Make a dough of grated bottle gourd all the flour and some salt.This doesn’t need water.

Now make small fists with the dough and keep it for steaming for ten to 15 min or till the tooth pick comes out clean

Make the tadka with 2 tbsp oil mustard sesame seeds. Curry leaves onion tomato and some green chili if you like spicy food

Cook till tomato and onion turn mushy and are well cooked

Chop the lauki dough Add the steamed chopped lauki dough to the prepared onion tomato curry
- 7
Add Salt red chili powder and turmeric. Sugar just one teaspoon to balance all the spices and sour taste
