Banana plus toffee is equal to Banoffee... This is a very simple recipe. With just 5-6 ingredients you can make this dessert which is so yummy and delicious. We will be making a yummilicious caralem using condensed milk for the toffee and combine it with banana in a chocolate biscuit shell. Topped with some smooth and fluffy whipped cream and finished with chocolate shavings. Though it takes long to make this recipe but that time is usually waiting time.

  3. 3

Divide the mixture equally in the six tart shells. Use your finger to press the mixture tightly in the shells. Make sure you press it tightly but not too thin. Freeze the tart shells for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

After 30 minutes remove from the freezer and let them sit on the counter for 5 minutes. Using a thin knife gently release the sides of the biscuit tart. Tap the shells a few times to release the shells. Do it very carefully as the biscuit tarts can break. I broke one🙈. Keep the shells in the fridge till assembly time.

To make the caramel, cover the half tin of milkmaid with a foil and put it in a pot with water cover the pot. Let it simmer on medium heat for 2 hours. Yes you head it right. This is the only thing which takes lot of time. The water should not be all the way up else it will enter the can also make sure to keep topping up water once it gets low. The condensed milk will turn to a nice golden brown caramel.

Hi, I am Swati.Food has always been my eternal love.I had always been a foodie. So much so that one of my aunts used to say it’s a pleasure to serve you. I also started cooking at a very young age in my mother’s kitchen. As I grew, my love for food grew with me. However, I did not even realize when this passion of mine became comfortable in some corner of my heart and the race towards economic and social goals took over my entire time.I am a Human Resource executive in the Education Industry by profession. Now, after years of juggling between my work and my passion, I finally decided to take my passion to another level. Here will share with you my recipes some tradition and some noval. My blog/website: ediblelovebyswati.comInstagram: ediblelovebyswatiFacebook: ediblelovebyswati
