Peel, chop and microwave the pumpkin for about 10 minutes until mashable.

Puree the pumpkin.

Chop and heat the apple in a pan until soft. Add to the mashed pumpkin.

Beat the eggs, milk and golden syrup then add to the puree.

Add the flour, spices and baking powder to the wet ingredients and mix.

Pour into a lined loaf tin and bake at 160C for 1 hour.
