Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups boiled chickpea
  • Half tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp chaat masala 1tbsp sugar
  • 3tbsp tamarind pulp
  • 3tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 potatoes boiled and cut into cubes
  • 1 tomato roughly chopped
  • 1 green chili roughly chopped
  • onion roughly chopped

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a wok, add water and bring it to boil. Add chickpeas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, crushed red pepper, salt, chaat masala and mix well.

    Add sugar, tamarind pulp, tomato ketchup and mix well.

    Add potatoes, Tomatoes, green chillies and onions. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Dissolve cornflour in 1/4 cup water. Gradually add cornflour and mix well.

  5. 5

    Lastly add coriander leaves. Garnish with onion and papri. Serve
