Collect every thing together

Wash peel and cut lauki in large chunks and boiled in plain water till they become soft

Heat oil in a vessel

Add cumin seeds and splutter

Add sliced onions and sautay till light pink

Add red chilli and green chillies

Sautay chillies for a while

Add boiled lauki into onion mixture

Mix well and broke lauki pieces into smaller chunks during mixing and add salt as well

Cook till all the water evaporated and oil seperated out.

Dish out and serve with chapati. Enjoy in summer
