Cooking Instructions
- 1
Roughly chop the vegetables and add the herbs and lemon juice. Place in a preheated oven at 180c for 20-25 mins.
- 2
Make up your cheese sauce by adding butter to a saucepan, heat gently and add the flour. When it’s combined add the milk until it’s smooth. Add your crumbled blue cheese until it’s thickened.
- 3
Remove the vegetables from the oven and plate up, I served this dish with some walnuts a drizzle of honey over the figs and gammon that went so well with the blue cheese dressing.

Blue cheese salad dressing Blue cheese salad dressing
This is super simple and delicious. Even if your not normally a huge fan of blue cheese, this recipe softens the natural blue cheese harshness and has a smooth ‘moorish’ addictive thing about it.It’s amazing with poached pears or fresh apples as well. Lee Hilder -

Sometimes the creamy, and delicious thick blue cheese dressing seems to heavy for green salads or as just a burst of flavor for vegetables and meats. This vinaigrette gives you great blue cheese flavor that is light and tangy! fenway -

Warm Salad with Rich Cheese Dressing Warm Salad with Rich Cheese Dressing
I love warm salads and often try different ways of making them.Cook the vegetables the way you like them (microwave, boil, steam etc...)I eat my tomatoes cold, but you can heat them up in the microwave if you like.Pizza cheese can be replaced with a slice of easy-melting processed cheese (just make sure to tear it into pieces)! Colorful Carrot Salad with Lemon Dressing Colorful Carrot Salad with Lemon Dressing
Hello!!! Did everyone have a good weekend? I hope so and I do hope that all is well…We had a very nice weekend it was the first one that we went out in a long long long time, we went and visited some friends who have moved to Germany from Greece. Our friend actually is a base player in a group and they were having a live concert on Saturday night so this gave us the opportunity to hear him live again!! I think its been 10 years since the last time I have been to a live concert. Germany had wonderful weather this weekend, Saturday night was just lovely, warm, stars were out, people dancing, and having a great time. 🙂Sunday we were invited over to some other friends house for lunch, the food was delicious BBQ, 🙂 we got a chance to catch up on everything and well we just had a lovely time. 😉 Just a small shout out thanking Katerina and hubby so much for inviting us to their home and their wonderful hospitality. (Before I forget Charlie had a great time too!!!) 🙂Since food was way to much this weekend, today’s lunch is light and salad is the only option. I ate Carrot Salad for the first time at my mother-in-laws :)…I remember that she placed it on the table and I made some sort of facial expression because she caught it hahahahahahah…and she remarked..:) Don’t get me wrong I love my mother-in-law, I have been very lucky she is like a second mom to me, anyway because I love salad I was absolutely going to try it, and have been making it myself since then. 🙂 Foodzesty -

Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip
This is the classic blue cheese dressing/dip used for buffalo wings, buffalo shrimp and on vegetable platters. It is good on sturdy salads such as the wedge salad and on hambergers.. To adapt it for tender green salads add a bit of milk to thin it to your taste. fenway -
“Poke” salad with lemon and olive oil from Spain dressing “Poke” salad with lemon and olive oil from Spain dressing
“Poke” literally translates to "cut into pieces". It is an ancestral dish that started as a simple snack among the indigenous Hawaiians and was taken to California by visitors who spent long periods of time in Hawaii. Its main ingredients are rice and raw fish, to which you can add different types of seaweed and other ingredients, fully adaptable to all tastes. Combine with a spoonful of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain, and it's a complete, fresh, fast, very tasty and quite affordable meal. Give it a try! Olive Oils from Spain
