Soak chillies in hot water for 30 mins.

Grind chillies and tomato into fine paste.

Heat oil. Add garlic and ginger. Cook till light golden.

Add the chilli tomato paste and cook for 2 min. Now add salt, sugar, soya sauce and tomato ketchup. Cook for 2 min.

Add black pepper and vinegar. Cook for 1 min. Chutney is ready.
