Made this 1/2 year cake for my 6 month grand daughter Ma sha Allah.

Pre heat oven at 180 degrees. Everything should be at room temperature. Take out eggs and butter before so they can be at room temperature.

Strain maida with baking powder

Beat butter to creamy, add sugar and beat again well till nice and fluffy

Add vanilla essence

Now add eggs one at a time and beat

Add maida half and half milk and fold, than add all the milk and maida and fold till all the maida is mixed well if it's thick than add more milk 1tbsp.

Pour on a greased cake pan, I used 8inches round pan and bake for 25-30 mins, check by inserting a stick inside.

When cake is baked take out and cool it on a rack

Cut cake in half

Make frosting

First keep the cream and bowl chilled

Whip cream with icing sugar till stiff peaks are formed. I added pink food colour in the icing bag.

Cut cake and spread some icing on it or you can use melted jam also, Put other half of cake on it.

Fill cream in icing bag and do decoration as you like.
