Ingredients

  • 2Bell peppers (shimla mirch)
  • 1& 1/2 tbsp Oil (tel)
  • 1 tspCumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/4 tspAsafoetida (hing)
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tbspCoriander powder (sukha dhania)
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder (lal mirchi)
  • 2 tbspGram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 tspRaw mango powder (amchur)
  • To tasteSalt (namak)

  1. 1

    Wash & chop bell peppers into small pieces.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida & turmeric powder. Then add chopped bell peppers.

    Add salt. Mix it & saute it little on low flame. Cover it with the lid for 5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.

    When it becomes soft add gram flour. Mix & roast it. Saute it for 2 to 3 min.

    Add red chilli powder, coriander powder & dry mango powder. Mix it. Switch off the gas stove & cover it with a lid. Your yummy bell pepper sabji is ready. Serve with chapati, rice or bhakri
