Sama Poha or vrat ke chawal ka poha is made with sama rice also called barnyard millet or samak or samo and is ideal for fasts like Navratri. This Samak Rice Poha is satvik, healthy, and oh-so-yummy. Just the dish you need to celebrate Navratri with!!
Steps

Rinse the sama rice a couple of times in water like the way we rinse rice. Soak in enough water for 5 minute.

Put sama rice with salt, water, and ghee in a pan on full flame. Cover it with a lid and bring to boil.

Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low flame by covering with a lid. Then take it out on a plate.

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in another pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for a minute.

Now add peanuts to it and roast for a minute on medium flame. Then add curry leaves, green chilli, and mix well.

Then add cooked sama rice to it and mix well. Fry them for few minutes on medium flame.

Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with vrat sabji or curd.
